I’d be lying if I said that my creativity gets kaput when I get depressive episodes. Motivation, however, is an entirely different beast.
And now, mix music.
There is an app in the Google Play store called, Music Maker Jam, and it’s damn easy to use. Upon opening it for the first time, you’ll be directed to select some music styles.
There are over 100 to choose from, ranging from “Nordic Pop” (Bjork?) to “Valentunes.” Several styles are made free per month, and you’re given three free styles in addition to those selected for the month to be gratis. Then you get to the mixer.
Add a beat from one of the styles (and there is quite a selection, from dubstep to great sounding drum kits) and keep on trucking.
Pretty easy to make some awesome beats. They app allows one to tweak the notes individually, too. Makes things highly customizable.
And for those who aren’t music buffs, there’s the easy method.
When you’re ready, play it, mix it, record it.
And you’ll end up with something like this:
Downtempo, mellow, grooving tunes help me get through the day. And now I can create them as I like.
